Didn't realise there was such a thing. What is it. The Rhyl and district under 10s?lolLOWER

The first manager you can think of for improving attacking players is Eddie Howe? You don't think Eddie Howe could get a tune out of him? Any suggestion he's a Championship player is insanity.
Yes, didn’t really hit his stride until Guardiola arrived at City. As I stated above it’s more his physical development I’m talking about.

only able to catch highlights, but glad to see that it sounds like he did well!
(we'll have turned on him in 18 months, tops)
I have a very fun emotional rollercoaster reading @davek on this thread and then seeing him discussing Jags on any other lolIm only here for Dave.
I didn't even get the first post in the Siggurdsson thread, never mind banning the naysayers.*wonders idly if thread sponsorship comes with a “can thread ban one poster” perk...

You can't deny that he has great potential. It seems like you want him to fail. You're saying "Mark my words" in hopes that you are right about one of our own failing. Sad to see. They can't all be as good as BesicYou are all sadly trying so hard to see something in the lad that really isnt there.
Mark my words, he will not be making it here, not unless we get relegated anytime soon.
Surely this is a great thing to see, Dowell and Davies in the first team, playing well...by most accounts.
Haven't felt this much pride and hope for a good while - and didn't even see the match
(got to say its about time so called evertontv actually does what it says on the tin and broadcast the game if it wasn't going to be done elsewhere)
We need to pay the big bucks to stay competitive, but it's something else, something more, when there's two homegrown lads in the middle.
Dowell doesn't need to be rushed into the first team.
Give him full cup games at CM working on defensive awareness and technique; and bring him on for 20-25mins for some of the EPL games, as back-up to Sig, where he can gain experience attacking in tight spaces, in between the lines, at the top level.
Skip forward 12 - 18 months, their all playing to their potential, and attacking something like this:
Gueye
Coleman, Davies, Dowell, Digne
Sig
Bernard, Richo
(without Gomez and no.9)
or
Coleman, Davies, Dowell, Digne
Sig
Bernard, no.9, Richo
(without Gomez, Gueye)
or
Coleman, Davies, Gomez, Digne
Dowell
Bernard, no.9, Richo
(without Gueye, Sig)
Silva's preferred formation of 4-3-3 with wide forwards cutting in (Richo and Bernard perfect if they live up to the hype) and fullbacks providing width (Coleman and Digne perfect). Silva's got the makings of a proper squad if Dowell can progress this season.
