He’s 20, he deserves chances, those chances needs to be earned, I’m glad we have good young players getting an opportunity to prove themselves. I’m delighted ?Silva is trying different things and putting a pathywat there. That’s about it really, well played Silva and Everton. Win, win really.

Surely this is a great thing to see, Dowell and Davies in the first team, playing well...by most accounts.
Haven't felt this much pride and hope for a good while - and didn't even see the match
(got to say its about time so called evertontv actually does what it says on the tin and broadcast the game if it wasn't going to be done elsewhere)
We need to pay the big bucks to stay competitive, but it's something else, something more, when there's two homegrown lads in the middle.
Dowell doesn't need to be rushed into the first team.
Give him full cup games at CM working on defensive awareness and technique; and bring him on for 20-25mins for some of the EPL games, as back-up to Sig, where he can gain experience attacking in tight spaces, in between the lines, at the top level.
Skip forward 12 - 18 months, their all playing to their potential, and attacking something like this:

Davies Gueye Dowell Coleman Davies Dowell Digne
Coleman Sig Digne OR Sig OR
Bernard Richo Bernard new signing Richo

Gueye Silva's preferred formation of 4-3-3 with wide forwards cutting in (Richo and
Davies Gomez Bernard perfect if they live up to the hype) and fullbacks providing width
Coleman Dowell Digne (Coleman and Digne perfect). Silva's got the makings of a proper squad
Bernard Richo if Dowell can progress this season.

You are all sadly trying so hard to see something in the lad that really isnt there.

Mark my words, he will not be making it here, not unless we get relegated anytime soon.
You can't deny that he has great potential. It seems like you want him to fail. You're saying "Mark my words" in hopes that you are right about one of our own failing. Sad to see. They can't all be as good as Besic

This hurt my head.
