I know what you mean but few tight spots tonight, then quick change of movement, tight control and then he’s in space. He’s just very aware of what’s around him, which a lot of players aren’t.
He just has it. Of course, there'll be critics brought up to expect some all-action blood and thunder game from a player who'll never see it.

I feel sorry for them.

Reminds me a bit of De Bruyne, like him he’s going to need patience and a few seasons before we see him at his best.
Need to be careful making comparisons on this site mate;)

I think Silva needs to pick the right games for him to play in. I'm glad he played him in central midfield tonight as I think there's an opportunity for him to get game time there in home games against teams that park the bus.

I also think having a left foot in midfield adds a bit more balance to our play. I was saying earlier, despite his languid style he's a deceptively quick runner when in possession.

Noted mate lol, his passing style does remind me of him but it’s more his physical development I’m talking about. Took a few years for him to really start imposing himself and I think Dowell will be the same. He’s still a young player, but what potential he’s got!

were they the ones yelling at Stones to get rid of it and stop fannying about, then boasted that we’d had City’s pants down for his fee because we’d ended up with a better player in Ashley Williams? worked out well that
