As much as I think that this mob will struggle without at least three or four key additions, it's hard not to feel upbeat at the thought of Bolasie leaving.

Winger really isn't a priority. Walcott and Lookman will start the season, with Mirallas, Bolasie, and if we really need, Dowell as cover. Id love a shiny new foreign winger with loads of pace and a 6 minute video of him doing stepovers in the Turkish league, set to some non copyright euro trance, but a left back and a centre back are far more important right now.

Mirallas & bolasie will be out the door. I’m sure one wide player will be coming in, maybe one the can play up front as well.

Dowell & Vlasic will be the other options imo.

I listened to him being described as Palaces lynchpin before we signed him and ‘unplayable on his day’ when we signed him and pre injury. I don’t recall him being either.

I think he’ll go down as one of the worst pieces of business we’ve ever done.
I think it`s safe to say that he is the WORSE piece of business we have ever done and this will remain the case for a long long time.

Hang on though, Klaasen doesn't even play - Bolasie actually ran about a bit, scored a goal and an assist. Personally think Koeman outdid himself there.

Bernard is ace. However looks like WHU mutants are all over him....FFS Silva/Brands make this one happen

What if Silva has had conversations with the likes of Lookman Vlasic and Dowell and said they’re actually going to be played rather than sitting on the bench on loan. Add in Walcott and there’s 4 wide players before you even count Bolasie and Mirallas who haven’t left yet. Why would we buy another one just now?

I agree a shocking buy. This looks so bad on Walsh/Koeman. Just looking at his palace stats in terms of goals and assists. The alarm bells should have been ringing.
