We do definitely need a few players with that magic to change a game from nowhere.
Mirallas could do it at one time, goodness knows what happened to him.
A slightly less talented player who fits the system is better than a more talented one who is either unable or unwilling to do so.
Putting a lot of hope into Marcel being able to get those sort of players and shift the ones who don't fit.
Shaqiri gives us nothing we’ve not already got in my opinion. Very talented lad but inconsistent, and the type to produce moments of quality rather than influence games with his overall play. Like many players who’ve been discussed in here at length, it’s not that he’s not good enough, simply that we don’t really need him.

I honestly don’t even miss him. Not in terms of how we play, coz we clearly miss him in that regard, but I don’t miss him being at the club. Never endeared himself to the fans for me, I mean his brain didn’t seem capable of producing anything from his mouth that would endear himself to us.
