Yeah I understand why certain managers keep on the merry go round,but when you see clubs facing an uncertain future simply for aiming to be an average team,surely they would be better off yo yoing between divisions rather than risk everything

Was Terry any good for the Villa? Didn't keep up with them this season apart from laughing at them losing the playoff final. Was he the inspirational captain they were craving? Is he gonna retire now? Maybe a swanny to the States with Waz?

By all accounts he was excellent, on and off the pitch. Represented the club well, and was great with some of the younger lads.

Our new Villa fan might have a better idea of the reality mind.

Terry was superb on and off the pitch. He will be a big miss next season. One of our better players, but he did have the odd shocker which is expected at his age. Great signing though.

Correct whatever happens Villa will carry on as we have seen with Rangers etc. The name and the badge still will be a draw so when the full reset button has been hit then I expect steady progress for you guys. It is very sad to see that you are in that much trouble, I would never laugh at another club though* as it could easily be us in a few years if things went south.

Exceptions: Leeds, Portsmouth, Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham and obviously the RS of course.
