They'll sell Grealish, offload a load of others then be in mid-table next season.

As much as I'd be delighted if they went under, they obviously won't.

You still can - they're a Portsmouth waiting to happen right now, probably League 2 within the next five years.

They have no permanent decent asset beyond Grealish.

As an aside, we were in the same boat if we went down in 1998. Would have been the end of the club I reckon.

Absolutely correct. I'd like to think it's unlikely we'd get onto relegation bother, but we've got some serious deadwood in our squad and a big wage bill. We'd potentially not have a fun time of it either.
 
Hate them tbh. Would be pretty funny if they went into liquidation and were sent down about seven leagues as a punishment. Also all of their previous European and domestic trophies would probably be awarded to FC Liverpool as compensation for their recent defeat to Real Madrid.
 
Fans of clubs such as Wolves and Watford should look at Villa (and those who came before) as a warning. They think they are new and different. They are not.
 
Never had a major problem with Villa tbh, apart when they got a bit uppity when we were in our yearly battle for 5th a few seasons back!

Shame to see such an old traditional club like them go this way.

My cousins fella is a brummie and Birmingham city fan, he is, needless to say, loving this at the moment :lol:

Ah well, they'll have Sunderland to keep them company next season!
 
Been a good couple of weeks recently tbh. Sunderland in freefall, Madrid humiliating the RS, Villa going to pot, us starting our major clearout of the trash amongst our ranks. Long may it continue in this fashion.
