Mata is better than Shaqiri but he'd cost us most of our transfer budget and it's highly unlikely to happen. Siggy ain't all that at number 10, he's quite poor tbh, worse than Shaqiri.

No he is not what utter tripe, Iceland is leagues ahead of the little fat get from Stoke, Jesus mate move on

Quite easily really
Morinho has said why he prefers lukaku to rashford and martial and it's well known he is after dries martens.

Jaime vardy around 25m and batsuayi and rashford are available on loannfor around let's say 5m each loan fee + wages.

That's rashford, batsuayi and vardy that could be here next season for just 35m think about that.

“Hi Marcus, we’d like you to join Everton. We’d like you to compete with Vardy, Batshuayi and Tosun for your starting spot.”

What do you think he’d say?

It's not a gamble, vardy is a stop gap for the next couple of seasons while a team is built
Rashford is likely to go out on loan, Everton being probably the best team he can get into outside the top 4.
Rashford on loan, buying vardy.
That's the goals sorted, then concentrate on building up a midfield and defence.

Heard the same when we bought Williams.
Heard the same when we sign Rooney,

Look what happen to them now, both can’t even maintain their peak for a season. I think we should give up the idea of signing 31 year veteran on high wages and witness their painful deterioration over the course of their contract.

A striker that relies on pace as his biggest advantage will lose his edge faster than a striker who relies on his technical ability.

Case study
Owen at 31 compare to bergkamp at 31.

Why would Vardy sign for us? He’s at a team at around about the same level. A place where he’s on 100k per week and which will likely build a big gold statue of him at some point.
Why on earth would he force a move to Everton.

FIFA dictates that at least one window in a calendar year is open for 12 weeks
I am on about the the dates changing for the transfer window. It’s closing before the season starts now meaning less time to sort transfers with the World Cup taking place.

Exactly, I always thought in peoples dreams. Wishful thinking nothing more.

L'Equipe says we've contacted Monaco over 22 year old defensive mid Kevin N'Doram.

Neither of those 2 strikers scored 20 premier league goals when they were 31, and Owen peaked when he was 18.
As I said previously vardy didn't start playing a full season of football until he was 23.

Point is, why should we sign him on a 3 or 4 year deal with a high chance he might lose his pace at 33, 34? Without pace, he’ll be worst than Tosun and pace will deminish no matter how late you start your professional career.

We’ve wasted 20m on Williams and Rooney for a short term fix. We can’t continue this approach every summer.

He's not though. You are probably one of the people who thought Nzonzi was crap at Stoke as well, or that McCarthy was better than Nzonzi lol . Lets see what happens, because we have the creative player that we need available on the cheap, and you would soon change your mind about him if he signed. Unfortunately, it would be typical Everton if they ignored him in favour of a more expensive but less productive lump.

Williams was going downhill when he signed and rooney had been finished for a good few seasons. There completely different.

If vardy can get even 35 premier goals over 2 seasons it will be worth it
