Crazy to suggest him going on loan when he is now an established and integral member of the squad, he's in the difficult second season for a youngster after bursting on the scene and deserves all the support he can get, yes giving him the odd rest but too good to loan out.

That's the problem he faces, if as you say he is an integral part of the first team. There is a player in there but not ready for the pressures of the Prem on a regular basis. He is still a kid who is still learning and needs to make mistakes and learn from them. The Prem is not forgiving and he could ultimately suffer in the short and even long term

Don't know how you can think that since half of them haven't been given even a cursory of glances. Holgate is probably our best defender too ffs.

We can't afford their mistakes and inconsistencies. Let somebody else develop them, but if they haven't shown they can cope better in the premier league by now I very much doubt they ever will.
