I cannot think of any scenario which puts him here next season. Even when they appointed him it was very obvious even to him that they wanted him for this season only. He had them by the goolies and so was able to get extra time/money out of them for his fat pay off when they ditch him. The board already know that the vast majority of supporters did not want him here in the first place and that majority has only grew. He was brought in for one purpose only and that was to make sure that Everton do not get relegated this season. I would imagine that there are some people in the hierarchy (such as Moshiri) that are absolutely dying to pull the trigger and get rid of him but they wouldn't even consider it until they know that we are safe. That is one of the main reasons that Allardyce is continually piping on about relegation. He is trying to make it last as long as possible and wants to be known as our Saviour.

Me personally, i will only remember him as one of the worst Everton Managers in many years.

Apart from Theo, so far he's bought a striker who he was raving about a few weeks ago but refuses to play him, and loaned a dud Man City cast off probably because he was refused more money for a proper LB.

1/3 ain't good. It's curtains for him at the end of the season and he knows it.

While I am not a great fan of BFS myself I think you need to think again at that statement
Statistically he most certainly isn’t that bad

Did you make that decision when he was announced as manager and haven't changed it since?

Since Allardyce took charge properly after the West Ham game we have picked up 19 points from 39 available. That is the 7th best form in the league over that period. Chelsea are 5th with 21 from 36 (game in hand tonight), West Ham next with 20 from 39, and then us. He's gained us more points in the time he's been here than Arsenal have got (17 from 39).

Fact is he’s a better manager than Koeman and Martinez. That says a lot.

What???

Allardyce has been managing for as long as those two combined and has won absolutely nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nil.

How is he better? This would be only his second top half finish in a dozen years if he gets it, and yet he's still chatting about relegation every day instead anyway.

Allardyce is a specialist in failure. And a specialist in using propaganda and self promotion to spin gross failure as success. You sir, have been conned.

Absolutely hate that he is still chatting relegation when we are within touching distance of Europe. He is shooting himself in the foot, if he just showed some ambition he would have a much greater chance of being accepted by Evertonians as his results have been fine other than the London drubbings, considering the mess we were in.
We have spent massive money and have loads of talented players compared to the teams around us, he could be building a feel good factor but all he is doing is alienating himself from the support.

and yet Clubs who are down and out at the bottom of the league are desperate to sign him year upon year because he never fails to turn clubs around?

It's a good job you are here to put the rest of Football right.

Yeah then he fills the squad with dross, leaves the club in a mess, gets his early pay day, and the club is relegated within 2 seasons.

If your only barometer for success is coming 17th, then it shows you haven't the ability to achieve actual tangible success. It's easy to meet your targets if you set them low. If he had any ambition whatsoever he would be trying to shake off his relegation survivalist tag. Instead he spends his whole life trying to keep that reputation in tact. It's like spending your whole life going round telling others how great you are because you've never murdered anyone. Utterly bizarre mentality he has.

I don’t want him here next season and haven’t renewed my ST yet.
If we finish 7th he will be though, any other manager who would have come in after our mess of a start to the season and finished 7th would normally be praised and would deffo be given an extension. Silva/Fonseca or anyone else wouldn’t have got us any higher after that start.

If Sam wants to be here he will make sure him and media friends promote this fact.

He had his media friends at Newcastle and west ham didn't help and the fans got him out at both.

As for finishing seventh, with the league the way it is currently, 7th place could end up being about 44 points, the league is that pathetic now outside the top six sides.

Last season 8th place was 46 points, a mere 6 points separated 8th-17th in the league, now we've dropped off a similar thing will stretch from 7th-19th this season.

Basically finishing 7th means nowt unless there's contact with those above when as likely there will be a 20-25 point gap between 6th and 7th and about 6-9 points between 7th-19/20th.
