Which has been abar 5 minutes. So I don't know if he'll ever be good enough cause he doesn't play.

Just know that I've been staring at Schneiderlin doing....something? Gueye looking the shadow of his former self, Davies giving the ball away and not really looking a threat, Rooney barely breaking into a sprint and just hacking at players when it doesn't go his way, all season. Switch it up.

I suppose the argument would be that he has to show something in training to get his chance? When he did play at the start of the season he was actually worse than those players you mentioned. We can't really have 5 games of that.

Two managers haven’t played him, even the first who signed him gave him relatively little game time. Surely that is a good indicator he is even worse than what we currently have ?

I do find it strange that he can’t even make the bench or atleast be given a chance. His confidence must be rock bottom.

Here is a link to a thing he did with Allan Russell, who incidentally I played against many times. He wins the challenge but his touch under no real pressure in a training environment is utterly horrific. Despite winning by default. Also highlights DCL's weakness in finishing.

Exactly this.

yeah he somehow fluked winning the challenge, but looked comfortably the worst player, amazing so many still don't understand how bad he is

I don't agree with this. From what I have seen this season, koeman was in a crisis the minute we lost to atalanta and never recovered. Unsworth came in and promoted youth and played the players HE was comfortable with and now allardyce is playing the ones he trusts (ie senior pros).

Klassen has All the attributes that would actually serve us far better than what we play now. It's obvious the players don't play well together and they are individuals rather than a team. Klassen just never getting a chance or a run in the team means he is never going to adapt. I would argue that klassen is the most suitable number 10 type player we signed in the summer and if he could adjust to the league he may well be our most effective player in the middle paired with someone like gueye.

He may also be not good enough, we don't know.

But it's incredible how fans write of players like klassen, like sandro who hardly get put into the team but then complain of how bad the first team actually is. We have a none existent midfield attack wise with no-one to pass forward and someone who has goals and assists in them is lambasted as not good enough based on a few fleeting appearance in the team.

I suppose we are better off with Wayne penalty and can't pass 10 yards Rooney playing in that position though

Thanks for sharing.

Interesting that Rooney was the only one who followed instruction: received with his left, played the ball with his right. Young Klassen was jammy.

Got to be the worst signing in our history. Over 20 million for someone that offers less than Stuart Barlow. I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to buy him off us.

It's going to be almost impossible to claw back anything close to what Everton paid for him in the summer. No one really spends that kind of money on run of the mill players outside of England.

Seems the type who will end up going out on loan every year while his contract runs down.

Koeman gave him plenty of game time, hauled him off as soon as possible too and then said he needs time to settle.

He was also horrific in the Europa League games, which are less intense.

Then you look at Baningime thrown in at the deep end against Chelsea away and impressed. Davies who is more robust. McCarthy coming back. Klassen just drops in the pecking order under 2 further managers

He's not cut for the prem. Simple as that.
