..I thought he played well today. When he picked up the ball to take the penalty I was sure he wanted to exorcise a few demons. He didn’t.

Yea, barring the penalty, he has a good game and looks far more comfortable in a team setup by Silva than he ever did under Koeman or Martinez. Although they lost today, Watford played some nice stuff.

..they did. They were better than us, lad on the left side was excellent.

And some people don't want to consider silva for the Everton job, based on the fact Watford couldn't hold onto leads at Chelsea or today. I'd rather people based their judgements on the fact, he has taken a poor team who was fighting relegation last season and turned them into a competent team, whilst spending only a fraction of the money we did in the summer. He has that team playing good football within a cohesive unit, something we haven't managed this season.

I honestly never thought he was as bad as some would make out. Completely understood why he was in the team at times, just not a mentally strong footballer.
