David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

Fairs fair though: Unsworth had a training session with them. That's a tall order to get a game plan across. I think he corrected his team selection at HT and we responded.

We'll get a good manager if Unsworth doesn't work out. I'd just like to find out whether Unsworth cant be that good manager.

Think a lot of people are forgetting this major point. They’ve had months of a certain style of play drilled into them, it was clear from the off that he wanted them to press high but they fell back and deep into their old ways.

But from 48 hours together, I was shocked at how much he actually got out of them

We set out to shorten the game to a 40 minute one, and bar a set piece we did so, with the confidence levels was a smart decision,

Exactly. A SINGULAR training session. Haas been the Everton manager for an entire 48 hours.

Let's see how the team is before slating all and sundry.

Big fan of the man, I have a good feeling he'll get the lads playing and we'll climb up the table...hoping by Xmas he'll get the job on a perm. Giving it to someone from outside is a bigger risk, I reckon.

He needs to get some results that's what'll count in his favour if he's to be considered for the job full time, playing well for 45 mins could be considered a positive but he said himself it's about winning.
