David Unsworth - Temporary Manager

As much as I like Unsy there's no way we should be appointing him full time. The board need to get a grip and get a top drawer manager in asap. It's up to them to finally step up and seem like they have intent to make the club compete. Appointing an unproven ex player is negligent and small time.
I think, at the very least, he'll get until the international break. It's vitally important that Kenwright/Moshiri et al take the time to reach out to the top managers out there and try and get them on board, we can't just gung-ho it and settle on a Moyes or Howe.

This is spot on.

Yup this all day mate. Sick of the board deflating me and just not being assed!

No, in the same way that Sunderland are also not on a par with Arsenal.
I'm talking about the double standards being employed here.

No double standards in y view. Both the Sunderland and Arsenal defeats were abject losses by team who clearly couldn't give a toss any more, followed by games (not necessarily the result) in which the performances were dramatically improved. I would have expected a win over Norwich at home, not one away to Chelsea; the parallel I draw is the promise shown by the turnaround in effort.

I dunno mate. Unless it's someone who can attract big names and we can land those big names there's little point. Having a big name with our current squad would be pointless.

Is there a trophy ?
