They should of sacked him when he said he never prepared the team against Atalanta
how arrogant is that to think he has his slippers on under the table ! small club mentality ! there

he gets paid 6 million a year to sort these things out
if he can't be arsed doing it then do one piehead

like he keeps saying...but ok that sheesh football
the boys showed KA-RA-CK-TER

I can't understand the logic of being a laughing stock if we sack
I would love to see the [Poor language removed] hire Martinez on a 10 year contract, spend 300m and end up playing worst than ever. Flirting with relegation every season. I hope they would never sack him no mater how many times they get relegated.

Of course we wouldn't be a laughing stock if we decided to pull the plug on Koeman's turgid reign.

It is what the serious football clubs do when a manager ain't living up to expectations.

United fired Moyes after less than a season.

The RS got rid of Hodgson after three or four months.

Chelsea fired Scolari, AVB and DiMatteo before any of the three of them were in situ for a year.

Ditto Spurs with Juande Ramos and Steve Sherwood.

If a thing is broken then just fix it.

For flip sake even Peter Johnson acted quickly when it became clear Mike Walker was not up to the task.

'Kin el, we're turd at the minute, but I'd rather give him more time to turn it round. It stinks of Crystal Palace to be sacking him in September.
When you know it's not working you know. De Boer wasn't turning that around. The RS knew Rodgers wasn't. Chelsea could see Mourinho wasn't too. I don't think Koeman is there yet but it isn't far away either

It's only been a month since we completed our summer spending. Any club that blows £150m in the transfer market then sacks their manager within a few weeks would become football's laughing stock, and rightly so. Everton are not that kind of club, and we're going to be stuck with Koeman for some time to come - though an ignominious European exit coupled with more pallid league performances and the Board may well start to think about their options.

I have to agree though with much of Lyndon Lloyd's opinion piece on Toffeeweb today. Something is not right at the club. I don't know if Koeman can be blamed for the striker fiasco - he did make his wishes very clear and Walsh and the Board failed to deliver - but he doesn't get off the hook that easily. Why are we so lacking in pace, lacking in width, and lacking in ideas going forward ? What was the idea behind bringing in Rooney at £150,000 a week and smashing our transfer record to bring in Sigurdsson rather than seeking out younger players with more pace ? Why this season do we so often appear sluggish, planless and clueless ?

Another thing is, Bill thought the sun shone out of the last two tossers, he really liked them in his OTT luvvie way. I get the impression from the way that allegedly Barkley went crying to Bill about Koeman, who promptly went over his head to his real boss; Moshiri and prevailed, that he won't stick overlong with Ron like he did with his 2 mates.
I think if asked, he might be in the 'No' camp of the above Poll.

If Ancelotti wanted to come to Everton then yes, if not, then no. Same way if Koeman got offered a better job than us he'd go. Works both ways. Ancelotti is better than him, so we upgrade. I'm not really up for us getting into the habit of sacking managers though, but on the flip side, how long do you leave it before you make a decision? I get those saying "wait until Christmas" but if we do that, and he's still bad by then, we've wasted another bloody season.

Proper pain in the arse being an Evertonian, isn't it?

Exactly this.
We went through this give him until - 'X' number of games, whenever, blah, blah, think of a date, any obscure saints day tosh with the last dummy and basically wasted Sept until Mar...and if Moshiri wasn't suddenly there, we may still have Bills what a manager...and that was destined to end in tears, just like now

Regardless of who or who isnt to blame for not signing a forward what is Koeman's fault is repeatedly playing without width and playing two defensive midfielders who couldnt find their arse with both hands!
How can anyone but the manager take responsibility for not signing a forward? Did he accidentally sign Rooney, Sig, Klassen and half pint Sandro, whilst simultaneously not getting an arm around Ross whose stats are better than all those for goals/assists/passes last year.

Koeman out end of season, if only to clear up his mess and give Unsworth time to transition.

The Unwanted by Koeman XI

Robles (what did he do wrong?)

Kenny
Jagielka
Browning
Galloway

Geri
Barry
Mirallas
Barkley (captain)
Cleverley

Niasse

Subs: Lennon, Tarashaj, Dowell, Connolly, Pennington, Oviedo, Kone
Where's McCarthy disappeared? Him next to Barry and not cleverly ( who was bang average )and that team is bright.

We miss Coleman and bolasie, if course.

The wory was always going to be if it was going to be Valencia and Benfica Koeman or Southampton Koemam. Not looking good.
I don't know how you can waste 150m and go anywhere with your head up.

All that fake loyalty crap when someone mentioned the Barcelona job in a presser last season.

He hasn't got the persona or tactics for a decent club.
