Rooney

......I have no idea what we do with this feller now. He certainly doesn't get in any starting line up for a PL fixture.

Can we get the money back on him in January?

I predict this lad will be back playing for Ajax by the start of next season.

Pretty much every game 4 of the 6 will start. Injuries will happen. We won't play 2 DMs every march. If we qualify for the group in Europe we'll have to see a rotation. Its really not that hard to see how it works.

Don't talk sense in this thread....or any thread for that matter!!!! Got to have a fantastic 11 and sod any depth/rotation/subs/injuries/suspensions as they don't count

He looks well off the pace in this league. I guess he will play the Euro games.

I think Klaasen is going to be a really important player for us, and most of it will be without the ball. His run made Rooney's goal on Saturday. He takes players out of position to leave spaces for others. You don't get many players like him because it's a selfless and often thankless role that most don't have the brain or lack of ego to fulfil.

It will take a while for this style to gel given all the new players but if they can get it right it could be very effective.

Agreed.
Furthermore, it will take him time to settle in to a new home, club and country. Won't see the best of him for a few months.
Way way too early for anyone to have strong opinions on him.

will only get better and better. old man gylfi is an expensive set piece merchant, will flop
