When he first played for our u21 s he looked good but got caught out in two high profile games , one against the RS, and gave goals away. ( The curse of YouTube highlights, they show the goals and if you're the defender caught out that's all people see, not the boring defensive tackles you make.) He was nowhere near PL level when he arrived, which highlights the point you make, our youth set-up did a tremendous job with him last season and the first five months of this. I think RK also deserves some credit as a coach , getting the best out of our young players on the training ground , preparing them and letting them take their chance.

Yes all of this. He also deserves credit for playing him in a system
That supports him (a back 3).

Showed enough imo last season to not have been sent out on loan in the first place plus I wouldn't base my judgement on a player not getting minutes in a Pulis side!
The problem is not that he looked good last season, but why he didn't look good enough for Koeman this season. We have to think if he fits into the system or not that Koeman is trying to bring in.

If he was here he would only be sitting on our bench instead of theres.

Shame that it hasnt turned out for the lad, should have sent him somewhere that didnt have abar 25 Left Backs.

If Galloway cannot get into the WBA team then he should not be in ours. Pulis is a very good defensive coach and Galloway should learn a lot from him. It may be a difficult year for him but it may be the best thing for him.
He will be back in the summer and will get a chance to prove his worth as Davies, Calvert-Lewin and Holgate have done.

Not sure tbh mate, maybe Koeman doesn't fancy him. Maybe he thought we had an abundance of centre backs or sees him as a left back and preferred Oviedo.

I'd be disappointed tbh if he was sold on in the summer. I'd like his loan to end with wba and for us to either keep him or find him another club where he can get some minutes.

I see what you are saying. I would like to see him go to a lower league team on loan and get some minutes there. He is getting nothing at WBA and it needs to end. I was never really noticing what others were noticing in him last season. He just needs time to develop, he is only 20 years old.
