James McCarthy

Personally, I think Ronald should do all he can to persuade Jimmy Mac to stay.

We need as many top players as we can get.

Gana and Schneiderlin will be the preferred choice for Ronald but they will pick up suspensions and injuries....they will also suffer losses in form and if we make the EL next season, they will need rotated.

Jimmy Mac stays he will get plenty of minutes.

I hope McCarthy stays too for all the above reasons but somehow feel that with Barry, Gana, Davies, Barkley,
Morgan around he may feel that he can regular footie elsewhere. Oh! I forgot Besic as well.

I would rather see Jags hit the road along with the usual candidates of Kone, Gibson, Lennon.

The odd man out in my opinion...maybe not now but eventually.

Love me some fully fit James from 13/14...only just seeing bits of it again.

Business wise he has value and frankly is expendable in the big picture.

£20 mil price tag...for sale sign

He's a surplus market asset...as Morgs was for Utd.

I know most would like us seeing the backs of others first...buy you know the market Friend...we have a load of 'frees' on the books.

Jamo is probably our only surplus asset w/value...20M is a fair market starting point IMO

If we get 20m we will have done well, thats not a reflection on the player, more so how I view his "market value".

Ronny says hes staying anyway!!

Schlupp £12.5m
Livermore £10m+

Surely we could get £15-20m for Jimmy
Easily and West Brom would pay it.

But I wouldn't be so quick to sell, even if we have plenty in that position. If he's fit he's ahead of Barry in the squad. Also, I think he's a big part of Koeman's plans.
