Won't happen, too expensive and we have other priorities.

Why would we be getting Banega on loan, just sign Bilyaletdinov, be after centre backs AND be getting Moutinho?

Get real and stop torturing yourselves.

Agreed, Moyes needs to get a CB ASAP. Defence is the part where we are really short in.

It starts again;

Everton have confirmed that they are interested in Sporting Lisbon duo Joao Moutinho and Yannick Djalo.

Moutinho,

who has been on Toffees boss David Moyes' radar for a couple of years, and Djalo

helped inspire Sporting to Europa League victory over Everton last week.

Everton, who were soundly beaten in Portugal by Sporting, admit they have an interest in the attacking duo.

"We are always looking for good players and we have seen several times how good Moutinho is," Toffees chief executive Robert Elstone

told Portuguese daily A Bola.

"I was at the press conference when Phil Neville

highlighted Moutinho's quality - and we are always looking to strengthen, so who knows?"

Whilst the interest in Moutinho is long-standing, the interest in forward Djalo appears to be new.
But Elstone is also aware of him, saying: "Of course I know him. It is absolutely clear that he is a good player."

Everton pursue Portuguese ace

Everton have confirmed they are eyeing the capture of Portugal international Joao Moutinho from Sporting.
In Sunday’s edition of Portuguese paper A Bola, Everton director Keith Wyness confirmed The Toffees’ interest in the midfielder.
Moutinho was man-of-the-match in the opening game of Portugal’s Euro 2008 campaign and, at 21 years of age, is tipped for a huge future.
Everton need a central midfielder following the departure of Lee Carsley to Birmingham, and Wyness confirmed Moutinho is an option.
“The arrival of Joao Moutinho is a big possibility for us,” Wyness was quoted as saying in A Bola.
Sporting value Moutinho at around €20 million (£16 million), but Everton hope they can negotiate that price down with a complex bid based on future achievements.
Chelsea had also been linked with the player, who played under Luiz Felipe Scolari, but chief executive Peter Kenyon confirmed ‘Chelsea are not interested in this player’.

Aaaaggghhhhh !!! Not again .

L.C.A.B. puts fingers in ears and runs . Fast .

id say we need a deecent striker aswell,

saha's not always 100% fit, yakubu not back to best
vaughan, much as i like him cant see it happening
id like to see us go for someone with a bit of height/pace
weve got the strength yakubu saha, extra little helps

He destoyed us to be fair playing in between defnece and attack, exactly the type of player we need.

I'm not so sure he would warrant the type of fee they're after.

Imagine a midfield consisting of Osman, Pienaar, Arteta and Moutinho. + Rep to the first who spots the problem.
