We have just signed Bilyaletdinov for between £8-£10 million...

Moutinho would cost £15 million +

that's £22 million, almost all of the Lescott money...

We wouldn't have enough left for two centre-backs and a right-back, which are priorities...

It's unlikely I'm afraid.

There's more in the pot - enough for Distin and another CB - Taylor or Senderos. Would be nice to see one big name signing.

I'd be happy if we pulled off this Banega deal to be honest. Any central midfielder who can pick a pass and has 'creative' qualities is welcome here to be honest.

I'm getting sick and tired of seeing Neville, Cahill and Fellaini in midfield every week. It really is a shambles that Neville (a right back by trade) is the one that takes responsibility and looks to make us play.

If we don't then Osman should be moved centrally until Arteta is back fit. Either him, Pienaar or Bilya.

But we could buy the special 1 for about £18m I reckon, add Billy the kid and theres ALL the Lescott money gone. Which would leave us the £12m we bid for Defour left to get 2 CBs, 1 which can play RB hopefully.

RB isnt a problem, we have lots of average RBs. We dont have enough CBs or no where near enough quality CMs.

But I do agree its all very unlikely.

I was bashing our central midfield and as far as I'm aware Moutinho is a central midfielder. It all links together Homeboy.

And I'll say it now, I'd rather have Ever Banega.
