Oviedo can't do any worse than Baines at the moment and he's our only other real option at lb while Galloway is in the midlands

I don't trust Funes Mori either, but I'd rather him in there than playing RB Holgate out of position

Not sure on Brownings progress from injury, but I'd be plugging him in while we wait for Pennington to heal up. I'd immediately put Pennington in the first xi once fit. Our young player most ready imo

a cm could drop back into cb areas allowing Holgate or Galloway to push wider if we were attacked on the flanks. the point is we'd carry more attacking threat! a team with bolasie deulofeu depay lukaku and another new cam or striker. possibly Barkley too. that could be sexy. I don't buy that we'd let in lots of goals necessarily, not if we work hard on the training ground.

he's been out for two months and has been hauled back in as his replacement wasn't good enough.

They'd all get in the way of each other. We would. We'd be playing with four defensively-minded players, or actually just four players capable of putting a tackle in.

Two of them would be youngsters, with one of those youngsters currently not able to get in a West Brom team in place of a right-back playing at left-back...

If Baines is still not fit, he shouldn't be playing. Oviedo is much better than given credit for and is the best option at this moment in time and will remain so until we either buy a new lb or get Galloway back from loan
