Fellaini update

Bad news, gutted for the lad if this is true. He was in the form of his career and really starting to make that defensive midfield position his own. I was looking forward to seeing him alongside Arteta.

But I do think we'll be okay if we keep our current options fit and available for the rest of the season. Mikel Arteta alongside Phil Neville, Jack Rodwell or Johnny Heitinga is still a very capable and well balanced partnership.

But it's easier said than done, keeping them fit that is.

Me mate has just texted me to say , it aint looking good .
Looking like the season .This , to me , says adios Eufa , but others may disagree .
Even with him we'd struggle tactically , without him we are bolloxed . You MUST keep the ball in European football .
This is a proper shame - see last year , Arteta / Jags , etc - .

As always, deep respect for the info.

Shame it is. He'll be back.

Real question is who will be out when the 'fro returns?

Reckon time for young Rodwell to give it a go there? Think Moyes would be a little more willing to give Rodders his due with the Dutch Killer and Jags anchoring the central defense.

Says so in the Echo today mate, in the article on Baines :

Meanwhile, Moyes must wait until next week to find out the severity of Marouane Fellaini’s ankle injury.
The Belgian was set to have his injured ankle examined by a top London specialist yesterday, but the appointment has been postponed until next week due to the expert’s availability.

Learn who to trust around here, mate.

You haven't yet....but you will.

Hope this ain't true. Was looking forward to seeing him and Tater in the middle of the park.

ULTIMATE SADFACE. :(

That said, we coped withouth him against the chavs!

seems like we operate a 1 in 1 out policy in the physio room. :(

My mate works for Everton (only a steward like) and he was saying people are saying he has a chipped bone. Which can be worse that a break. He works at FF and heard it there.

Just for those who STILL don't believe this lad .
O.K. , I've told you . You don't believe it , yet quote the fukn Echo , or wherever as YOUR source .
He may be right , he may be wrong - though , if you weren't new , you'd know that he hasn't been wrong , ABOUT ANYTHING , to date .
I get a bit wound up with the inference - i.e, that I'm lying - , but that's just heads , eh ???
He said it . Until he says different . It's what I'm going with .
P.S. He told us 5 days pre-announcement that Saha had signed . Some doubted then too . AND , that weren't in the papers , neither .
Nor was Billy . Nor Johnny H . Nor Screech , .......

L.C.A.B. resists urge to ask himself why he fukn bothers ???

Mate if a dozen of us believe you, what the **** does it matter what the other weapons say. Those who are on less than 1k in posts are new and probably come from BK or NSNO, and are used to people winding them up.

There is enough here who believe you, so don't think that your words are going unnoticed. I think I speak for many here that we appreciate the words you say.

Don't go changing.

Climb down of your horse mate.

From what you've said, it sounds like early indications are that its a bad one. Hopefully it's not as bad as feared. Evertonians are doing what Evertonians naturally do, trying to put a optimistic spin on it.

People are going to have opinions like "Unless his ankle is broken or severely damage I can't see him missing more than a month, maybe month and half.", don't take them so personally. Others, like Ghost said, are used to other forums. Don't take it to heart.

No sweat, lcab, lad. Doesn't matter whether people believe you or not, really. Forums like this are a broad church so posts can be very well informed (like your good self, sir) or remarkably close to pure guesswork or gossip. C'est la vie?

Regular contributors all know that your reportage is well sound...
