End of season lap of appreciation

As the week has gone on I have started to think maybe on the sunday rather than create a hostile atmosphere, the crowd should wait till maybe the last 5 minutes of the game then ramp the noise up and continue into the lap of appreciation showing our support for everton fc, not individual players , managers, directors , just the club and only everton fc songs to be sung to show our support for the club but not the people who have made this season so awful.
I may just sack the game off..
Stay in the ale house and just pop in for the last 10 mins.

Think I'd actually enjoy the day more.

Not saying it's correct, but I requested a move for my renewed Sts' and the club contacted me today to say unfortunately, there no Main Stand seats lower than where I currently sit have become available through non-renewal... read into that what you will, but it suggests to me that at least many/most MS ST holders have already renewed.

less than 25k sold by the deadline, so at least 3/4k havent renewed.

It isn't for me to tell you how to support.
However I'd urge those who are going to Goodison to remember something.
Martinez is just a man. He has a wife and child.
Most who have met him say that he is a genuinely nice bloke.
While he might deserve some level of vitriol for how we've performed under his management, don't make the abuse personal. We're better than that.

The players and the board should have to sit in the stands and let the fans do a lap of the pitch. Show us some appreciation for the drivel we've had to experience this season.

Spot on, don't like to see personal abuse or while he is with his family.

Don't agree with the nice bloke bit though, the way he has treated multiple players during his tenure...

I hear you, he's vulnerable, let him have it lads

Not acceptable to advocate personal abuse

Nice words but hasn't Cleverly, Barclay,Mccarthy and dare I say it Gerrard all got family and they have got abused in the past.I urge you to pipe down and let us get on with it,it comes with the territory.

Just needs to be cancelled - embarrassing - I'll be off as soon as final whistle goes - dust myself down and start to hope for better next season - oh Hang on ? Is that not what I did last year , the year before ..... And forever ... Really really fed up now with it

The players should save their legs for their new clubs cos I don't think anyone will be applauding them.

It's the boards responsibility to make sure he is not put in that position. A failure to remove him before Sunday is unprofessional to say the least. Anything else is downright stupid.
