End of season lap of appreciation

Too late...Bill has sold almost 30,000 season tickets for next season.
The way to have shown your disgust was to not buy one until Martinez had gone.

EXACTLY THIS. No tickets - no fans. no fans - no money - no support.
The 30k tickets its not a true reflection. Many people are doing what you said, leaving it until the last minute to see if Bobby has gone or not.

After much soul searching this time last year,I decided to make my own small protest by NOT renewing my 15/16 season ticket.
Am not renewing this coming few weeks unless he gets booted out of our club, hopefully followed by Kenwrong.
Only been to the match about 7 times this season.....
Season ticket holder since 1983 (33 years).
Never thought my beloved blues could sink so low,and the club could show such disdain and utter contempt for the supporters....it's as if Billy is saying to us....Bollocks to you lot,I have a rich guy on board now,I don't need you lot anymore.
Like it or lump it says Bill.

With the way things are at the moment surely they will have the good sense not to bother with a lap of the pitch especially as some of the players will have their kids with them,no one would want to see the players having abuse hurled at them whilst carrying their kids, the press would have a field day with that one.

Children should NOT be used as a riot shield (n).

Of course mate, I agree 100%, I started going during the late 90's, for some reason I stayed with the team since. Imagine if we were talking about a TV series or Movie, we would of turned over the channel years ago lol The point im making is that the players walk around the 'lap of honour/appreciation' with their kids living comfortable settled lives from daddy who for many of the players have stole a living for the past 24 months... leave the kids at home and face the mighty Boo's of da bloos.
Mate I have to preface this by saying, I am American. Realised I was a Blue in the late 2000s. Money and my two little lads are the only thing standing in my way of my pilgrimage to Goodison. I have not been through all that you have been through and I admit that the club (being as you live there) may always be more to you, something different to you than it is to me. BUT we are both Blue and I love the club more than I could possibly explain and my loyalty to the club is unwavering...

that being said....

I think you have to look past their incomes, they don't demand that you give them a lap of honour, half of them probably feel uncomfortable about the notion.

It's the last home match and at this point I'm sure everyone of them know our feelings about this season. We've done enough booing and we've done enough criticizing. Regardless of how the season ended, how the cup runs ended, is there nothing you appreciate from this season? Can you not stay in Goodison for a few more minutes just to applaud and acknowledge them? They were horrendous, for the most part, I get it. But let it all go mate. You'll be back in the Old Lady in ~10 weeks time grasping on to the joy, anxiety, and depression of matchday once again. There were some matches, albeit a few, that really had me going this season. There were many that left much to be desired. But I'm thankful I have this club.

Pity there aren't more doing the same

Maybe we should protest in a novel way. Pull our shirts over our heads.

Or a sit down protest in the Park End car park pre match. Or post match. Totally silent one.

No way we have sold over 30,000 season tickets yet.

Not saying it's correct, but I requested a move for my renewed Sts' and the club contacted me today to say unfortunately, there no Main Stand seats lower than where I currently sit have become available through non-renewal... read into that what you will, but it suggests to me that at least many/most MS ST holders have already renewed.

Loads of seats at the street end, I was able to pick loads of places the other day
