Another success for Steve Tashjian - Everton Fitness Coach

A.N Other Everton Crock writes: "I owe it all to Steve and his revolutionary 'prehabilitation' technique. It strengthens all the muscle groups to allow me to waste away in bed for weeks with all these breaks and still feel relatively chipper. Hats off to him."

Very good point BB to be fair *chuckle

Apart from

Steve Round - Assistant Manager

Steve began his coaching career at Derby County. While at Pride Park he met Steve McClaren who later took him to Middlesbrough and England. During his time at the Riverside Round helped the club win the League Cup and reach the UEFA Cup final. He left Boro in December 2006, working under Sam Allardyce and Kevin Keegan at Newcastle before joining the Toffees in July 2008.

and

Alan Stubbs - Coach

Alan Stubbs joined Everton as a coach after two stints as a player in September 2008. His role is to assist Andy Holden in working with the Club's reserves, as well as assisting with the under 18 players.

and

Steve Tashjian - Fitness Coach

Steve works alongside Dave Billows and is tasked with keeping the players at their best, physically. This includes plenty of work in pre-season and warm-ups for training sessions and matches. California native Steve joined Everton in the summer of 2009 having previously worked in the MLS for Columbus Crew.

everyone else was brought in 2002 or before.

I agree. We have not played any good football in that time, and progressed nowhere. Guffaw Guffaw

tut tut mate.

All opinion really Gaz m8.
I look at the beautiful football played by teams such as Arsenal, and even West Brom last year under Tony Mo, and movement of sides such as Utd, Spurs etc, and think if we could only have a coach who was an attacking maestro.

Defense, we are not too bad once we get settled, and our disruptions haven't helped, but our movement is lethargic, and our reputation as set piece danger men shows that we aren't creating too many impressions with our style of football.
This could all change when we get a full squad back, but we need some players who will move for each other as a unit, and we don't have that yet.
This is the area that I feel our coaches are inept.

I too once wrote down the names of our coaches, with a little paragraph underneath, but have to say mine was a little harsher than yours lol.

All the best.
BB

I fully agree with BB mate.
Our coaches are not the worst but they are quite a distance from being the best.
We need a offensive coach, someone who had a good knowledge in attacking tactics and fresh ideas for Moyes to ponder upon.

He will become our right back for years to come,he reminds me of gary stevens.
Looks like kyle naughton made the right descision not as good as coleman and 3rd choice at spurs greedy [Poor language removed]

Nice match from the young lad. Just what we need a fullback who isn't afraid to attack defenders. The crosses were excellent. A star in the making. He dribbled rings around Bale today.

He is 21 now and at the right age to mature as a player and if we give me more playing time now, he could really develop into a long-term solution to the RB for us.

His Performance against Spurs was man of the match for me and merit him to a starting place for the rest of this month against Chelsea, Birmingham, Sunderland & Burnley!

Coleman could have a rest against Bate!

Moyes may have no choice in the matter due to the injury bug. Even though this may be forcing his hand this could be good for the team in the long run.

Now we need to light a fire under Bily then I will be happy. He seem to possess the ability but doesn't seem to want to use it.
