Any Evertonian who doesn't want us to win the FA Cup irrespective of their view on the manager isn't an Evertonian. Wanting your Club to lose games is just plain wrong, and if you haven't won a pot in 21 years and you want them to not win the FA cup then there's something seriously wrong with their psyche.
Just not sure were some of this is going to end up.
I've noticed a few going on about how Liverpool turned it round midweek because of the atmosphere and then in same breath making it clear that kind of support is totally dependent on circumstances they approve of.
Would a decent new manager come here with that environment?

I appreciate that Esk and I know there is zero chance of Bobby starting next season.

That makes it all the more infuriating to me that the bullet isn't bitten right now to give us at least a fighting chance at Anfield and Wembley :(

At this stage we have nothing to lose appointing an interim manager IMO

I agree with this, we've got a great chance to win the cup, our best chance since 95 and we should be doing what we think will give us the best chance of winning it.

The only thing I can think is that keeping Martinez to the end of the season was part of the deal Moshiri made with Bill when he agreed the takeover. If so that needs re-evaluating quickly if we lose today.

I would have to say our best chance since 95 was when we got to the final with moyesie

Still only in the semi

In the paper today Martinez has quoted blues leave me holding my breath, even when they are playing well . Confused . Com here Does that actually prove he don't know the difference in the state of play ? , OK to not get the right results as long if they're playing well ! Martinez out coyb

I'm not privy to any inside information but I can't see him getting sacked pre semi.
What is worrying is that he has lost the majority of the fan base spectaculary over recent weeks (I know he has lost a lot long before this but west ham at home and Baines saga have made us more vocal).
Spirits are at an all time low and I can't argue that releasing him and having a caretaker for remainder of the season would certainly rally the goodison faithful.

He will probably blame not having a full squad if we lose or draw. Even if he wins the cup he will still be sacked by anyone in his right senses. Having said this our best bet to win the cup is by replacing him but this will not happen before end of season

This situation with the mix of outright despair at our current plight and muffled excitement (to me at least) at being at the dawn of big change reminds me of being in Berlin just before the wall came down. I can't see it as a good thing in helping us get through the semi final and beyond if Martinez is almost certain he will be sacked come what may.
If it takes a few more weeks so be it, but a tremendous opportunity exists right now for Moshiri to say "enough is enough" and lead us into a new era. We have a problem that is not going away, why not solve it or take the first step in doing so now?

H
WE'RE CRAP AT THE BACK
TOOTHLESS IN ATTACK
BOBBY MARTINEZ
IS GETTING THE SACK

duh duh duh duh

Or

WHAT HAVE WE GOT?

WE'VE GOT A CLOWN HE'S CALLED ROBERTO
A FRAUD FROM SPAIN HE'S GOT THE LINGO
HE GOT THE MONEY FOR HIS SIGNINGS
BUT ALL WE HEAR ARE HIS WHININGS
AND WHEN WE TAKE THE LEAD
WE'RE SURE THAT WE'LL CONCEDE
ROBERTO IS A BULLSH*TTER THROUGH AND THROUGH

grabs coat!

Put big Joe in charge for the remainder- Altogether Now - now big Joe Royle is coming back for more!
