I want him gone.now aswell but I do think he's going to get a chance to play the semi. And for sacking him if we win it. Even do it would be for the best, I just can't imagine any club sacking the manager after a fa cup win I can't imagine it even though it would be the right thing to do.

I would literally give him to Thursday morning, Jay.

If it is the same listless performance at Palace as the last three games then in order to have any chance in the semi he needs taken out the hot seat IMO.

We have a derby at The Pit a few days before the semi and a tanking there would really drain the heart out the players.

I just think we are going out in the semi as things stand now.

I never remember the fan base so not up for it over a semi final.

Get rid now and at least give ourselves a fighting chance.

I take no pleasure in saying that BTW.

He won't be gone mate. Just hope the players are up for that game because they don't seem to bothered recently. If they are, we're in for a great game.

I couldn't agree with you any more my friend.
We are playing like a relegated team. No passion. No leadership. Heck, even no luck to get a fortuitous win.
I can't see where any win is coming from at the moment.

The sad thing is when the games start, the players don't even appear to care. This is hopefully not the case, but they are all qualities of a team in relegation.

But once again we just don't show any proactivity as a club in removing the Manager unless we are in fact looking at relegation. Just accept mediocrity.

I don't know when he will go, but I just want Mr Moshiri to show some leadership at some stage soon. Show the fans the days of accepting the mediocre to rubbish are over.

It pains me to write this as well.

You see, I don't think top class players can turn it off and on just that easily.

We have another three games to go in this long period between the 6th round and the semi and I think what you see is what you get.

A group of disenchanted individuals devoid of "chemistry" which has lost faith in its manager.

Added to that it has the backbone of an amoeba.

A perfect storm is about to come together and engulf us from Anfield to Wembley starting in ten days time.

Unless drastic action is taken.

They look exactly as bad as the Chelsea's players looked this season towards the end with Jose.
That club had no hesitation sacking arguably the best Manager in world football.

What are we going to do?

Asked for his thoughts on the banners after the match, which was attended by Chairman Bill Kenwright and director Jon Woods, Martinez said that he could understand the frustration after that run of defeats.
“We share that feeling," Martinez said to the media. "The fans are allowed to express their views and once the game started their support was magnificent. We felt that support.

“For me, they are the best fans in world football. I think we showed anyway wherever we go away in Europe. We did it last season when we went away to different countries and the support that had then was quite unique.

“That's carried through in the domestic cup competitions this season and any time we play we know we can rely on that support.

“I don't expect any fan to be happy after three defeats in the league. I don't think we are happy with it. What is important is that we perform really well.

“We are a football club that is going into a very important period and clearly everything we do is to make our fans proud.”

...3 defeats in the league?

Just do one you Catalan clown

We all keep writing how we feel bad for him as he is " a nice man".
I'm really starting to think our esteemed member @deipnosophist may have been right.

Chelsea went from Cech-Terry-Lampard-Drogba as leaders in the dressing room behind their manager to just Terry who was taken out of the side by Mourinho a fair bit i think.

What leaders do we have in the dressing room? Jagielka and Barry because they are old? I think we lack on pitch and off pitch leadership and so its not going to be easy to get the squad energized for a game + now with Jagielka out i guess that falls on old man Barry.

Not ideal.

From the outside it appears none. None from the top to the bottom of the whole organisation. Certainly none in the Management team or on the park.
Pathetic to watch really.
I hope Mr Moshiri changes that.

I reckon the continuous setbacks, defeats, bad luck, crass personal errors have all taken their toll
and the team is tired and in need of the summer break.

How is it possible that Lukaku, Barkley and Del Boy were all so dire at watford? That nobody showed up for
the Arsenal game? That nobody twigged that Manu were there for the taken?

Baines was dead right and anyone who has ever played in any type of losing team can see that.

To be fair to RM he has started to play with two wingers and finally dropped Howard but all way too late. Lord Fergie
wrote that the most important factor for a manager to impart is confidence and the team is low down at the moment and
RM is hoping for a win, any win, before the Derby and semi-final.

I would rest Barkley against Palace and play Besic in a tight, counter-attacking game . I would also stick with two wingers.
Looks like Jags is crooked so Disco Man Stones will unfortunately start.
