Wow every response to that tweet is get a new manager.
now twitter has to be taken with a pinch of salt but the tide has definitely turned against the man
This must be the echo chamber dear Dave was talking about![]()
Most are for him to go. Some are still unsure. A few want him to say.Everyone who sits around me at the game wants him gone. Everyone
Wrong. Last season was terrible in the league and this season in the league has been better in the most parts. Defence has went worse but going forward is much better. I'm not saying the league form is a lot better because I'm not deluded but there is signs of improvement from the parts of last season. We've got to sort out our defence and I think we can agree that we'll be on the up when that happens. People will think RM won't be able to do that and rightly so, but I do.You suggested that the 'team get it right'. For me, the team implies the players should shoulder the major responsibility to rectify the problem.
Which in itself is partly true as the players aren't blameless as I've repeatedly said. The players can help fix the situation; again I've said this.
Apologies if I have misinterpreted the meaning of your comment. Nevertheless, I do place the burden of our problems at the managers feet .
As such he should play a huge part in fixing this situation. For it is he who chooses the starting XI and it is he coaches the players on a daily basis.
It is Martinez who dictates how we play. It is the manager who has regularly came out with baffling comments in both pre and post conference.
Baines may have shown some dissent in his conference, and Martinez isn't entirely to blame, but overall he's responsible for much more.
Let's not forget that this isn't a short-term or singular incident; rather we've seen a steady decline over almost two seasons now.
I'd typed almost the exact thing earlier. And another poster complains that it's an echo chamber here.Huh?

I'd be in the unsure group. I've seen Martinez guide us to our highest points total in the BPL, and would have produced Champions League football in probably any other season. European football and extra games was the excuse last year, but this year, there are no excuses. The team is just flat out playing bad, but I'll admit that it's not all Martinez' fault and we have been largely unlucky this season. People still being up the argument that it's Martinez' style of play that we're shipping a lot of goals. That may have been true earlier in the year, but recently we've defended quite well, take sunday for example, it's not Martinez' fault that Coleman didn't clear the ball, and we could have gotten 2-3 goals ourselves, had we won 2-0, I don't think a lot of us would be in this thread fuming atm. Most are for him to go. Some are still unsure. A few want him to say.
So how have we improved?!! If you don't conceed at a rate of knots and you score more, then yeah obviously you'll be on the up?!Wrong. Actually, will type in a bit more detail.
The man has lost the plot, clearly lost the dressing room and definitely, beyond doubt, after the reaction to that this morning, lost the fans.
He should be sacked immediately. There's no good to come from him staying around any longer - he's now completely finished.
Get a new man or a temp in for the cup semi and have someone the players and fans can rally around for the run in. Anything other than this clown staying as Everton manager.
What is the difference between lacking chemistry and "We are not performing well at the moment, but that is something we want to change quickly.”Actually, will type in a bit more detail.
