Am I the only person on here who does not live in a world of suspended reality? I cannot see how this turns around. We are not playing great and losing because of one off errors or bad refereeing. We are just not playing. where does the turnaround come from that sees us run out winners against WHU or MU in the Semi - what change will effected that makes the players slam the shoite at the pit? What will change to see us scoring more than we concede at Watford and Palace?
Vault me and throw it back at me if the above turns out the other way. I would love so much to be wrong about this but it seems there is no plan B, ever.

Moyes Mk II...He might be a bit less dour, but all we've done is changed from one; 'my way or the highway' (oh and btw, there IS no highway option) / inflexible / poor Plan A and no Plan B merchant to another.

I think folks are trying to create drama.

But hey ho it's all opinions.

Imagine the captain of a team who's team has just come off a third league defeat in a row appearing disappointed, frustrated and slightly embarassed. I for one would expect nothing less.

Ok I agree but opinions aside Martinez is crap and we need a new manager.

This is why I personally see no point in sticking with Bob any longer.

As things stand we are going to lose at the Pit and at Wembley.

Nowt would give me more pleasure than someone being able to hang these words round my neck six or seven weeks from now but from where I am sat, the Martinez era is going to end next month at the latest.

Get rid after Watford, give Big Joe the job of guiding us through the Anfield and Wembley trips and start searching for a permanent guy ASAP.

Its just odd. Added in Howards book, his media comments and performances....smacked of pure arrogance.

I think he and others backed martinez the 2nd season and then this season theyve all realised theyre out the door and turned on him.

Those like gibson have refused moves and others have not been able to be shifted due to the transfer windows. Not like the old days when players could be immediately moved on.

So when finally these guys are off in the summer its a positive for us and martinez as they will also free up wages.

Going to be alot of changes i think.

Since you keep stating as a fact that Gibson has refused moves, can you pass on the details please? You seem to know a lot more than the journalists and his own international manager. As far as I can tell these are the only remarks available to the public, you however seem to be in receipt of some greater, concrete information.

The former Manchester United man was used as a late substitute in yesterday's FA Cup tie with Carlisle and injury to Mo Besic may have influenced the decision for him to remain with the Blues.

"I will speak to Darron anyway. There might have been an opportunity to go but I'm not exactly sure," said O'Neill. "Or the manager may have wanted him to stay. I'll find out... But the final decision may not be with the player. If the decision is with the club, there is not much you can do about that. I will give him a call."

Gibson was primed to go out on loan in January but the Blues performed a u-turn and kept the Republic of Ireland international at Goodison.

Gibson was also injured around the beginning of March.

These are the facts in the public domain. Now whether he did indeed turn down a move or not I couldn't possibly say either way for sure as I don't know. What I can say for sure is that you definitely don't know either, so maybe stop pretending that you do.

Hello Darron, mate.

I really want Everton to win the semi (and final)...that is all.

It is unfortunate that Martinez-centric considerations (i.e. in/out), appear, for so many Evertonians, to cloud that fundamental.

He has my total support for the remainder of the season.

But I reckon we need a better manager beyond this season.

Top 6 squad?

Useless keeper
No left midfield
No back up striker
No playmaker

Not for me...Howard alone caused us a lot of points to be dropped and weve seen alot of individual errors + zero depth in central midfield as well.

Oh yes they are. Finished 6th and 5th before last season. Add in a few good players but did not lose any significant player bar Fellaini.

It's fine I just do not agree with you.

@kithnou

Yeah i think we will see at the end of the season whether we have martinez in place. Its a strange one really because i feel its unfair to expect him to work miracles without being backed with money and yet at the same time think he needs to step up and get the players playing with heart.

He really needs a couple of wins now and i think if i was him id be going Kevin Keegan on attack and seeing if we can turn sides over...no use to play as we have been doing as too many fans against him now.

I just dont see any current available managers out there who id particularly be excited about either.

Whether it is in Everton terms, the board has backed Martinez with money. As I stated earlier, The brown shoe has a net spend of £15m plus per season so don't try to make out if he is treated like Moyes when Moist had to sell to buy and still get us the 6th place trophy.

your nicknames are to behold Sir

He will be gone at the end of the season... We risk losing our bests players because of him and am sure the board know this....

These games can't come and go fast enough so hopefully we can re shuffle

Our form suggests that with Bobby in charge we will not win the cup.

I am afraid that is reality.
