Maybe so but Lakaku still needs the chances to be created, there is very little wrong offensively. A defensive shape and for me the midfield in particular without the ball is were the problem is.In all honesty mate he has an absolute monster up top who is entering the prime of his career. I think it'd be a different story if we had kone or Marcus bent up top.
I understand fans being upset with Moyes actions in that transfer window, but he was just doing what he was being paid to do. Its part of what you would expect from the manager of your team. If the boot was on the other foot, how would you view it?
I can never understand why managers buy players for the wrong positions, cleverly is a central midielder

Ash was the name of the gooner who phoned in. His brain's ash too.I bet the same arsenal fan who says that wants Wenger gone!
Agree, remember these random games in the past two years where we pressed teams from the off - looked better and actually won!?Oh it's awful, we have no shape when lose the ball and the opposition just walk through us. I'm drooling watching athletico Madrid (prior to torre going) literally pressing the hell out if barca, and then forming a barrier.
I've said it since last year, we adopt that and this team would be absolutely flying, it'd be quite scary with the technical ability our players have, to be forcing the opposition and picking possession up 30 yards from goal instead of on our box.....frightening.
By eating turkey rashers and egg whitesHow do you all keep this energy level up?

Why we don't do it all the time i don't know, perhaps injuries, perhaps fitness, perhaps it's Martinez. Either way it all/something needs to change.

I totally agree with the frustration but out problem is not when we have the ball but how we defend as a team without it. Let's not get confused - in general our attacking play has been very good, discipline defensively as a unit is were the issue is.

...it was mate, granted, but that's gone WAY off the boil now too, even the positive stuff's had the life sucked out of it lately.
Which is an awful, awful shame.
Our players definitely aren't fit. They can't be or they wouldn't do what you've just described haha.I just don't what he sees and why it's not implemented more often, I thinks it's a mixture stubbornness and lack of fitness. I truly believe that are players are not as fit as they should be, they look physically and more importantly mentally drained entering the final 20 minutes of games.
Without doubt, they are not conditioned optimally. The numero uno of teams I support is the All Blacks...now they are conditioned.I just don't what he sees and why it's not implemented more often, I thinks it's a mixture stubbornness and lack of fitness.
