Computer games.

I think PSVR could knock it out of the park. I think Oculus/Vive are going to be too niche for game companies to develop confidently for - whilst the PSVR has a PS4 already in the homes of loads of people.

I'd be putting money on PSVR if I had the slightest bit of interest in the tech, but I wouldn't pre-order. Wait until 2017.

a lot of you is talking about how most households doesnt have good enough Pc's to play games with oculus/vive. In Norway most of us who plays games on pc has good enough pc's to play it. You dont really need THAT good computer either. My computer is 5 years old( it wasnt even then one of the most expensive computers) . I have updated with a bit better graphics card and some RAM, but that did just cost like £300 in total. And my computer is good enough to use with oculus/vive. The bit that has putted me off is the prices for it. So I hope the prices will quickly go down a bit after they are released in the stores.

I'm talking mass market. Most households these days will have a few laptops and tablets. Gaming PCs are more niche than a PS4, certainly in the UK. That's my point -- gaming wise, there's a wider access point for the PSVR than the Oculus/Vive.

In Norway gaming PCs are just as common as PS4 I think.

That's interesting, but surely not the case for the major territories.

for norwegians its very important to have the best stuff. Gaming Pc's has superior graphics, so then we get gaming PC's. Money is no problem.
HTC sold more than 15,000 Vive virtual reality headsets less than 10 minutes after the product became available for pre-order. So looks like it will be big.

I played Halo 5 on Xbox One last week. Completed the story in a couple of days. I found it better plot wise than the last one and what it does it does well, but there is nothing new there. I won't be playing it again to try and unlock more achievements put it that way.

I'm now on to Dying Light and my god for a game that had promise there are some bloody infuriating instant death moments.
How do they compare multiplayer wise? I played as far as reach so 3 and reach are my experience. Don't want to bother if all I get is cod in space now lol

Well I'm not really rating it, it doesn't get a score for instance, I'm just looking at whether it's worth playing now

That's really what I do with the Retro write ups

I play a Retro game and see whether it holds up or not

The Retro market is big at the moment and games like Super Soccer can be bought quite easily. There could be people who have never played this who are thinking about adding it to their SNES collection

It's not really a review in the traditional sense, because, as you say, gaming has changed a lot and the criteria I'd use for reviewing a modern release isn't really valid when used in reference to an older game

However, I do know people who have bought a Mega Drive/SNES/PS1/N64 who have found these features useful when considering whether to pick a game up or not, especially the higher priced ones. They are usually younger folk who have never had one of those consoles until now and they want to make sure they'll get games that they'll have fun playing

Plus, older people who remember these games like the trip down memory lane
What would you sat your favourite N64 game is?
