Roberto Martinez discussion

Of course we've had some, but it's a ridiculous argument to put everything down to. Roberto is finished as far as I'm concerned and we better get someone with some competency and a sensible mentality regarding defence in over the summer.
IMO we've made a lot of improvement in our defensive structure since the turn of the year.
That's just my opinion though, Martinez needs to show on a consistent basis he can maintain that defensive solidity and marry it with how offensively brilliant we have been all season. As well as getting results to match.
As I've always said, I'm waiting till the end of the season to assess our performance. Plenty of football yet to be played.

I played you like a trumpet Ian, a broken trumpet, then left you in the corner with my spit on you.

Admit it, it took you back to your school days.

And that's what hurt me mate. You're a premiere GOT poster and I thought the Plotters had nabbed you, it seems you were won over like a cheap $2 hooker. That's fine though, you've made your bed, now enjoy it.

When all is said and done we ALL hope Everton win the next 5, but YOU NEED IT.

Imagine putting yourself in that place.

You divvy

It could of been special.

What about his comments mate?

Wasn't referring to today in particular, just to things he's said about the crowd in the past. Today he just blamed luck too much for my liking. We didn't test their keeper nearly enough. No point changing a manager right now. But if we don't start next season with a new boss I'll be very disappointed.

Didn't really argue against my point though did it, just got all arsey.

On the contrary, finish 6-7th and win an FA Cup.

That's the bloody point, nobody knows do they? It's a season of mixed results for everyone.

Lol it's far from arsey, just the way it looks to me.

My scenario based on the last 19-20 months is far more likely than yours. In fact, I would say you are blatantly ignoring facts to keep your moot point going that he still might turn a corner.

Regardless of all the bs martinez spouts - Mirallas has been royally screwed by him this season, absolutely no way on earth he signed that new contract if he realsied that he was going to be treated like this

ALL managers have their favourites and of everything that Martinez has said this season thats pissed me off (besides the Howard stuff) then it's saying outright theirs no favourites under him here - when anyone with a pair of eyes can see there is clearly

Agreed mate, poor mismanagement regarding using Mirallas. He's basically played everyone but Mirallas as many times as he possibly can.

Tactically I just don't think the fella is up to scratch.

If there was a role for pr ambassador for Everton he would be superb, the man could sell a blob of dog crap if it was covered in glitter but I don't think he's the right man for us.

Either way, I guess we will find out in about 3 months time I reckon.

p.s and I'm dreading how he sets up pre season with the Euros on the horizon. Probably have everyone back for the last 20 minutes of a pre season game against St Johnstone as everyone else needed a rest due to playing 8 minutes in the Euros

Aye mate, if I was Mirallas sitting on that bench you would want to launch a bottle of Lucozade at Bobertos head.

Shocking management to bring Kone on then stick him out on the left.

Embarrasing really. As his insistence of leaving Barkley, McCarthy and Barry on until the last knockings when we're losing 1-0 at home to a dreadful side. For god sake man do something different.

The Plotters always seemed a bit anti-Everton to me, I mean they had to hope for bad results to gain traction, The Cults life blood is Everton wins, it felt dirty being a Plotter, I honestly dont how the real Plotters sleep at night.

Today the Plotters are rejoicing and they have indeed gained a great victory, but whats the prize? Where is the honour in Everton defeat? It makes my skin crawl.

We've seen this film last season though. It's easier to perform now that there's no pressure on us whatsoever. If he does alright between now and the end of the season, do we give him the opportunity to cock up for a third season in a row?

Unless he wins the cup, but it will take a miracle

But he's proven he can get us playing very well and getting very good results.

Thing is, we don't even have to play well to get into Europe this season, the league is shocking. That highlights how frustrating our season has been too. But 13 games is a massive amount of points available in this league.

Just leave it till May.

Absolute gang of toilets you lot wanting Martinez out, embarrassing to even think you're fellow Evertonians.

Get over the park and do walk outs if you want.

Tits.
