Roberto Martinez discussion

So the "better the devil you know" point of view? Despite the devil actually stinking the house out for over a year and a half. A very interesting viewpoint!

I seem to remember a manager coming in February when Smith was sacked, can't really say it had a negative effect, in fact it actually brought some purpose to the players, which is something we seem to be sorely lacking at present too.

Right, but weren't we in 17th and not mid table? And out of the cups? Not really the same situation.

Of course. I wouldn't support my team if I wasn't. What's the point in following someone your whole life only to wait for them to fail? I never understand why this occurs!

I want my team to win everything! If that's delusional then people treat football far too seriously. I've harked on a few times about the word supporter lately. That's how I see it. If come May we didn't do as well as we expected or hoped, questions need to be asked. But you need to see the full result before moving forward. The season is 38 games for a reason.

Sacking him now doesn't achieve anything especially when there's still so much to play for.

You can see the pattern there unfortunately. Surely I want Everton to win 13 games in a row but in reality they won't and I said this based on the league results since August 2014.

We have had more than our fair share of bad luck though mate.
Obscene amounts of it this season.

Of course we've had some, but it's a ridiculous argument to put everything down to. Roberto is finished as far as I'm concerned and we better get someone with some competency and a sensible mentality regarding defence in over the summer.

Might be the best squad we've had since blah, blah, but the difference in the two teams today was concentration, they didn't switch off and we did twice, and were lucky they didn't punish us when Brunt put it wide from their second half breakaway.Nobody tracked him.

No it wasn't. Your talking out your anus. They got lucky with a looped header and then got luckier time and again with poor finishing or hitting posts.

They didn't concentrate as well as is because we had plenty of chances. They had one proper chance they put wide.

Goat is a floater and changes sides but would be a good addition to us proud plotters.

I go where the games at.
Ok mate. I really liked you. Too cultish for me now, and that's not even how you spell it.

I played you like a trumpet Ian, a broken trumpet, then left you in the corner with my spit on you.

Admit it, it took you back to your school days.
