Yesterday I was having a discussion in a portuguese forum with some Premier League portuguese fans. Martinez has some level of support from people who like Swansea. They were standing by Martinez for his ideas and style of play. At some point I said that I don't like disposing a manager in the middle of the season, unless there is a horror movie ongoing, but at the end of season I would look at Howe and assess how he had done. I probably would sign him! At least he's one of us and he's showing signs of talent in management.
I know Flores from his time with Benfica. He's ok but not a great coach. He knows how to defend, though, and he seeks some level of balance which is something our team does not seem to show.

We aren't going down this year but next year should we keep martinez and lose lukaku, I'd be fearful. He has much higher ceiling than moyes but he comes with a worrying trap door too.

He's at another juncture now, as he needs to accept that his Achilles heel is his defensive coaching (or the lack of it). It's obvious that he needs help in that area and he should set his ego aside and bring in a specialist defensive coach.
