Couldn't watch the game, but Griffiths mentioned a ball that came in that Robles punched where Stones yelled at him that he should have held it. Anyone know the incident he was talking about or if it was as bad as he made it sound? Anyways, sounds like possibly apart from that blip he had a solid performance, nice to have some pressure on Howard.
He had a solid very good game made a fantastic punch, only TIm could dream off take no notice of Dithering Doug!

...I thought he was fine. There was one cross he took in his midrif late on that could have been embarrassing had a forward nipped in ahead of him but generally he was sound.

Do you mean his first game back heading for a draw and he palmed the ball away straight to him for him to score costing us a point, by gifting the ball to William on the edge of the box - Doug thought that was ok?

C'mon mate, he should have done better but he managed to snuff it out and you'd expect Oviedo to clear it. http://gfycat.com/SmoggyHandyCarpenterant

It's like no one even tries to be objective about players here, everyone just sees what they want to see.

Just watched it pathetic from Tim - look where Robles punched it last night out of the danger area out for a throwing well away sidewards terrific punch from the danger area " are you watching Tim" - that goalkeeping by Tim sums him up as being rubbish , and costing us points probably had his eyes shut again!

If it is the one I am think of it was very close to the goalposts and he felt it was a safer bet to clear the ball , and clear the ball he did as I think it went straight out for a throw. I didn't think he did much wrong.

If we make the league cup final will he start?

He could add to his FA Cup medal...as a wigan loanee and our reserve keeper.

Not bad going!!

Also think hes earned a start in the league...

Okay that makes sense, couldn't see the incident for myself so was just going off what Griffiths/Jags said.

There is no evidence at the moment that Robles is not good enough for us. He is young and could develop into one of the best goalkeepers around - but we will never know unless he is given a decent run in the team
