You said there's not a lot of good goalkeepers around full stop, which is tosh. There's loads of good keepers, and if our scouts are doing their jobs we'll have a new, solid, reliable keeper in place in the next 12-18 months

There is the most massive disconnect between this forum's general view on Howard (ie he's rubbish) and Martinez's view on him("he's the most important person in our dressing room"...or words to that effect). Roberto rates Howard very, very highly; he is with us for the rest of his contract imo.

Take De Gea and Butland out of Utd and Stokes sides and the boring lack of attacking play from both would have them nowhere near where both are in the table.

We are 9th despite the 2nd top striker (Rom) and assister (Deloufeu) that tells you the GK and defence isn't up to scratch.
Dissapointing all round we are always 1 position away from achieving something. Under moyes it was boss defence but lacklustre forwards.
