Aiden McGeady

McGeady should look at Kone and how he has turned his career around. No one else can do that for him and clearly Martinez has seen something in him previously to have brought him here. Either Aiden wants to prove us wrong or just sink into obscurity. Up to him now.

Says a lot that despite The Del sizzling it up, McGeady's thread keeps appearing on top of the Everton forum without needing to actually play ;)
It's hard for supporters to remove that visualisation of those fastest feet in world football doing their thing in an Everton shirt.

The worst thing about McGeady is that he's never even threatened to prove the day one doubters wrong.

What an absolute waste of wages.
He was MOTM against Lille in the EL. And I thought he did well round that period.

The thing is that these type of players are completely mood governed. A place and team and manager is either spot on for them or they suffer massive confidence issues. Of course, that's no good for a PL team looking for a bit more in the way of a robust mentality.

It's fair to say his time at Everton has been easily the worst in his career.

All told, he's from a different age really. I liked the idea of him being here because I love those type of players who can flick a switch and do the tricks. But it just hasn't worked out. Sadly for him and us.

Anyone saying he has no talent though has rocks in their head. Big ones.

Which lille game was that? I seem to recall giving him dogs abuse in the away game, but I had drunk about 10 pints of Trappist beers before the game so it's possible I was just on auto-pilot. Cant recall the home game at all, just had to look up the score.

For what it's worth I think he's a talented player who just isn't good enough to do it on a regular basis. A bit like Adam Johnson, hoolahan, or Maloney.

Did well slinging in crosses that night and generally bamboozling the opposition.

What sort of team do you think he should go to mate?

Very good post mate .... Incredible if it happened and he became a good player ... Not seeing it though to be honest

Criticism of Aids just tends to stiffen the resolve of members in @kithnou 's ASS
