doesn't change the fact that Lescott for Heitinga, the Russian, and Distin is a great bit of business.
Tell you what though, we've improved it havent we.
And saved some money for Everton three.
Wouldn't say great myself like, Heitinga looks a good deal, you haven't even seen "The Russian" and Distin has no resale value.
Seems decent but I don't think we've improved. Moyes said last week that we needed at least 4 in, surely we haven't got just 1.

this point is a niggle for me. we have got that loan ,will pay interest, and not spent it .
the interest we will pay on that money is now actually money unnecessarily wasted , and we wonder why were struggle financially ?

I think we've improved quite a bit. Not happy with us being so skint but I'm delighted with the business we've done.

VDM, Valente and Castillo have gone. As have Johnson and McFadden. We've got a smaller squad now than we had two years ago.
Investing in the facilities, what facilities over the past few years?
Can't help but think that in a few years we'll be talking about a lost Everton side, a side that was two or three signings away from really competing.
