i reckon one of them'll be michael ball to be honest, we've got no cover at left back. and we can't use lescott there til jags come back. and the other signing i don't really care as long as it's a right winger to replace osman(i love the lad but he's needed competition for a while now).
Thats a good option. If, big IF, he got Banega then that would be the tactic.
The only thing left would be a decent right midfielder.
Well we have 3 RBs, maybe not great, but it surely makes sense to buy some RM/CM, you can never have enough quality midfielders.

Moyes wouldnt say it if something wasnt in the pipeline, he really shouldnt have said 48 hours tho, maybe "within the next week", if by Monday we havent signed anybody, riots! Or maybe not, but guess we watch this space.
