Where's the figure £8M coming from?

[Poor language removed] my mistake:mellow:,the reported £3m thats been branded around, anyway the lads crap and wont improve the team in anyway, things must be getting bad if we are linked with the likes of him.

If it is £3mill, its why I agreed with Neiler saying that him and Senderos for a total of £8mill would offer good depth.

But O'Neil is not a player that's going to improve of offer us something apart from that.

Did the thought pass pass through anyone elses head that he may be "cover" for Arteta on the right!

I've had that feeling that Arteta could be put back over on the right to be honest.....

Dont know if O'Neil is the right man for the job though...

Why would you move your best centre midfielder out to the right?

Come on Neiler, it's a rubbish idea. That's why no one thought about it.

Hey agreed, im just talking scenarios here. Maybe we should know better then trust a Sky Sports understands rumour, just cant fathom the logic behind this move, its the one postiton if we fill it with quality we will have a top notch starting 11.

Its like putting your best centre half at right back....

Or your left back at left wing...

Or midfielder as a striker...

Could end up like that because we have no options. Would certainly make the right better...and we seem to be alright in the middle without Arteta....

Just a thought...

I do think it is a possibility that may be considered. Not saying i agree with it but its an option to best utilise the squad.

We are a hell of a lot better with him in the middle, that's all that matters to be honest. There's a reason why we did better against the top four last season, Arteta getting on the ball and taking responsibility.

Having him outwide is a massive waste, we may aswell sell him if that's going to be the way forward. We'd just end up having a centre midfield bereft of creativity and two wide players who have to come very deep to see the ball.

A horrible idea, I’m confident Moyes wouldn’t do it unless we where really down to the bare bones. And when I say bare bones I mean Pienaar, Gosling, Osman etc all injured and only central players available.

Dont know mate, i wouldnt be speaking in definites - if it was a choice between being solid or creative im not sure Moyes would plumb for the latter.

Dont think its anyones plan A, but Everton rarely have that luxary.
