If you're talking about the results, you should have alluded to the results, not the performances.

The performances were acceptable as well, the job got done. I'd take us playing crap and winning the comp, the history books will have us as champions. But on the whole we're ace in Europe.

Why do you support Everton?

Europa league looks wide open for me. Watched the highlights of all the round 32 games and some of the favourites struggled. Napoli had a good win against a pub team but spurs, sevilla and the rs made heavy weather of their games, the dutch sides looked ordinary. The Most complete side for me looked like Wolfsburg and we beat them home and away, go figure !

We played some cracking football under Moyes at times, the football in the final third was often excellent - far more ideas and movement than we've seen this season.

For some reason though, some people have already re-written history and have us down as Late 80's Wimbledon or Pulis' Stoke team. Kind of disregards the fact that the Moyes era was largely based upon the intelligent on the deck football from Ossie, Pienaar and Arteta in midfield.

This x a million.

It was nothing like the negative defensive dourness under Smith. To lump them in the same bracket is re-writing history to suit an agenda.
