Be positive, we haven't played a bad game in Europe yet, we look a different side, I'm very excited about our chances.

To say "we're not going to win it" is a staggering statement from a "supporter".

Yes, I think it is. There's also worse teams than us. We can also beat any team left in the competition. Because it's a knockout, we have more chance of an "upset".

Had it been last season I'd have been more positive of course. This season has taken it's toll on me. Sadly.

I'm not sure of all the teams left in the Europa, but I see teams like Sevilla, Napoli, Roma and so on and see enought to know we'd struggle. We might not of course and your 'upset' point is very valid.

I want us to win it. It would be mental to not want that.

But perhaps the realistic view is a bit negative here.

I don't think we will struggle though, we're playing great stuff in Europe, in fact I wouldn't even look at it as an upset, Friday morning (for me) footy has been fantastic all year, it's not even a realistic view, we have a genuine chance in Europe.

No need to be sorry about being negative or not believing in the team, but statements like "we're not going to win it" are not only false, but they can't be backed up yet as it hasn't happened!

For me it's a 'we might win it, but realistically probably not'. If people want to see it as a bit more likely than that then fair enough.

You're entitled to that of course, I really believe though. I don't even watch the weekend games anymore though, I'm that done with the Premier League season, perhaps that's clouding my judgement.

Because we've been poor in the league, our players would have little confidence against an English team.
Put 'em up against Spanish or Portugeuse side and we wouldn't have the same mental hurdle to, err, hurdle, or something.
