If its been announced on the UAE stock market today then it must be because the company that is fronting the bid is a listed company on the UAE stockmarket. If its official there already then the club over here would be obliged to make a statement first thing in the morning before the stock market opens to prevent any insider dealing, if the club involved was a PLC. I reckon we will know who it is by 12:00 tommorrow latest, unless its a wind up.
 
huge story wud help if pr ppl denied or confimed on their websites. evertonfc dot com is so corporate... u wud think theywud flirt wiv us or sumthin like a news flash.
 

sky news is sayin nothin or other media channels. surely no1 can keep the club a secret 4 ths long. but after readin guardian + wat ppl sayin here i think we're gonna be major players now. might put a grand on efc 4 prem b4 odds shorten drastcally!

There is no takeover.

At least, not until we get anything concrete. It's, I'll say again, from an unsourced report in the UAE. It could just be posturing, or it could be complete bollocks.
 
im off,we are not gonna get any news at this time of night but im pretty sure by the morning we will know who the club is,wouldnt it be great to wake up and turn on the sky sports news and find out its us,BELIEVE!!PLEASE GOD.
 
man utd forum believes its us too coz been readin wat other clubs fans think coz obviously we're all biased on here! lol

wen a statement is made like that at 20:10 and its all over the media its deffo a clb gettin taken over. i cant see this bein a wind up coz if it was just a rumour it wudnt build such momentum as this and places like guardian + sky sports treat it as fact and not question it.

So we get taken over and then immediately go out and spend what? 30M? 40M?

IF we get a new shareholder, I doubt much is going to change from the get go.
