They've been practicing Naismith as a false number nine again in training this week so expect Lukaku wide.
That's some foreplay that lad.
Cough gagging for a week later like.all part of the service... as the ladies will testify

That midfield 3 offers no where near enough going forward. You'd have to have barkley in it.
Lennon barkley Miralass
...........Lakaku.............
On form that is frightening!!
McCarthy behind, then take your pick between Barry and besic. Personaly would go Barry but hey ho
if there is one game to play actual wingers its this one, we can't narrow our play even more against these playing 3 at the back, that would be suicide
but reduces invention. it's unfortunate that the one that most people would drop (Barry) is the one that offers us the most options going forward.Good post I forgot they 3 at the back but playing Barry besic McCarthy offers protection

I think you can go 3 in the center, but we need natural width, liverpools pressing has been pretty good of late unfortunately, if we narrow our play we could box ourselves in and put ourselves in trouble, I think the rs will stick with their current system, and width would be the best way to exploit that, ideally with someone off the striker to occupy another defender or DCM, but I could understand not doing that, and looking to be more more solid in the center, but shoehorning in a central player to go outwide would be a mistake in my opinion, whenther martinez sees it that way who knows, he's been pretty stubborn in his selections this seasonSo You think Martinez won't setup defensive? And wingers mirrallas/Lennon our what we will need for this?
Robles
Coleman Jags Stones Baines
Barry
Lennon Besic Barkley Mirallas
Lukaku

Makes sense. They've been going with 3-4-3 of late and a weakness of such a formation (theoretically - I have seen the RS play recently) is the space behind the wingbacks. You'd imagine they'll be keeping our fullbacks pressed back also so the outball to Lukaku wide might be on a fair bit. They've been practicing Naismith as a false number nine again in training this week so expect Lukaku wide.
