Look. I thought he was fantastic. Don't get me wrong, I am no keeper, but when there is a corner with 5 mins to go and you are up 2-1 and the ball is headed for a goal about a metre from you because you are planted on your line, someone needs to have a word with him.
Obviously not Howard because he is too scared to come out and punch too. These little costly errors change games and need to be eliminated to become a top keeper.
Very promising performance tonight though...

God I wish their meff of a keeper had missed and Joel had scored, I'm already fed up of seeing him being laundered as a hero, he did nothing all game, was woefully out of position for our free kick and saved the same amount of pens as Joel, yet a matter of inches means Joel's great game has already been forgotten about by the media

His best game in an Everton shirt. If I was to have one criticism, It would be that I thought he was far too easy to beat on the penalties. Committed himself far too early for me but as I said before, can't really fault the lad.
