I've never had anything against Roberto. He did a fine job at Wigan (for the most part). Last season things were excellent - which shows that he was able to get more out of the team than Moyes did (both in the results, the quality of football and the application in key games). This season however, right now, he's lost it - injuries (yeah, mostly to key performers) have not helped but we've lacked any inspiration to get something out of most games. One poor performance needs to be followed by something that demonstrates the previous game was a blip even if we ultimately lose that next game.
Leicester a - threw away a lead twice, some misfortune about both their goals but we were only marginally the better side
Arsenal - threw away a 2 goal lead
Chelsea - whatever anyone thinks about our fight back I thought we were quite poor on the day.
West Brom - poor side beaten comfortably
Wolfsburg - excellent performance in a good game (scoreline was a bit flattering tho!)
Palace - shocking 2nd half performance (albeit post Europa)
Swansea - League Cup - yeah only 2 days after Palace but dreadful
Liverpool - a lucky draw against a side out of form
Krasnodar - a lucky draw
Man Utd - didn't deserve anything, poor defending lead to 2nd goal
Villa - good win against a poor side
Lille - scraped a draw
Burnley - eventually tamed a poor side
Swansea - poor performance, lucky to get a point
Lille - swept aside an ordinary side
Sunderland - played poorly and scraped a point against poor side
West Ham - decent performance
Wolfsburg - good performance but rode our luck
Spurs - disappeared after 20 minutes - lost from a winning position (a common problem)
Hull - dreadful after the first 30
Man City - offered nothing except hard-luck stories
QPR - beat a poor side
Southampton - didn't turn up
Stoke - kicked off pitch, didn't turn up
Newcastle - faded after 20 minutes
Hull - didn't turn up - again
