Wanting ones team to at least be competitive and voicing concerns about abject capitulation does not bring ones loyalty into question.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion and in a democracy, everyone has the right to speak out, that doesn't mean disloyalty to the overall cause if ones thoughts lead one into questioning the direction and manner in which ones team plays.

Of course, one wants ones team to win trophies and thrash all and anyone in our way, but right now, this one would settle for us actually playing with some belief, cohesion, pace and flair.. and if we still get beat, at least we've tried.

I think it's becoming increasingly clear that a lot of people around the club and around this forum aren't maybe as blue as they paint themselves.

I think a lot of people decided that martinez wasn't for them and rather than change their opinion as he did better (and hands up, I used to hate him but I don't see how admitting you were wrong when thigns change is a weakness) have set their stall up. The worst thing in the world is to be wrong on the itnerent so if you said bobby wasn't up for it, well better hope bobby wasn't up for it.

I think a lot of our so called supporters are enjoying us being bad, relishing our bad form because it allows them to prove themselves right in their doubts.

If you didn't rate howard and distin and osman, you get to blame them for sabotaging bobby. if you didn't want martinez in, you get to blame him for upsetting our players.

This isn't everton and I dodn't think people who are so eager to see us lose so they can stick knives in (to either side) are really evertonians.

True blues get behind our team and that includes both our manager and our players.

We're in bad form and it's not acceptable but this night of the long knives, bad apple hunting, stuff is beneath us.

If you want Martinez sacked or half our squad sacked based on 4 bad games, maybe you're not supporting the right club.

No person on earth wants their team to do bad to prove a point, is just a ridiculous statement.

And 4 games, nah, people have been showing their concerns from the start, when it was clear that somethng didn't look right. The intensity, the movement, the pride had all left after the Arsenal game. A complete lack of fight for the blue shirt. My views on Martinez were just views, but once he took the job he got my full support, but that support only last so long. If we were playing like last year, with all the same as i've discussed, this wouldn't be as much as an issue for me because i would have faith that it would be turned around.

But when i see complete oposite team, lacking spirit and pide, and a manager who is now looking truly lost and totally unsure on what to do, I get worried, very worried. Because a mixture of the two issues will be devistating. But saying all this, when they come running out to z-cars they will have my support; another poor performance and my views will be aired on this forum as always, thats why we have a forum.

In my years watching Everton i've travelled the country and watched some truly awful football, this is coming close to rock bottom

I think criticism at times can be fair and warranted but it should be proportioned fairly as well. Martinez seems to be stuck behind a blindspot at the moment but the players could seemingly be doing better.

The only way they'll pull through this is as a collective and it's time they all accepted responsibility and admitted to being at fault. It was only a short time ago Martinez had the team playing dynamic attractive progressive football, and he's got the same players at his disposal so neither side have an excuse.

It's time we toughened up and sorted this out.

As far as Martinez goes, did he need to arrest the chronic failure in his system because persisting with it with players that can't handle it was suicide. Now the blood of confidence has run out of our body and the rigor mortis of fear has set in. If cash was there I'm not sure a new signing or three would fix it, the problem has become a sickness, for the squad to be resuscitated now will mean it's Martinez that has to do it, because with so many heads having dropped a new man in at the top wont mean anything as the excuse will have been setup with bumping off the 'man responsible'.

A Ferguson, a Cahill, a Horne & Parkinson duo. Sleeves up and time to get stuck in. That Donovan tackle on Ashley Cole, that strike by Mikel against Fiorentina, that header where Ferguson towered above Ferdinand, seven past Sunderland, Carsley against Brum. Some bottle, some steel, some heart, some soul.
