Sorry, I was being sarcastic there as they are the smallest state in the country.

Ah yes of course, if I had known they were smallest state then I probably would have picked up on it.

Good egg layers though.

Some of the most racist people towards welsh, are the welsh themselves.
The ones from the South hate the Northern ones Etc. I have a mate from Wrexham, and if he went to Cardiff he's likely to get the crap beaten outta him.

For what its worth, I am not particularly fond of the Welsh. Many a bad experiences. Seriously. The Welsh dont tend to like me. It all stemmed from a mass brawl in a Chippy.

In saying that though, last year I got myself in with a cracking group of Welsh Evertonians in a pub watching Fulham beat us. All top lads. Supporters club in Bala.

Yeah I have worked with all kinds nationalities and it's not bothered me. But if someone is prejudice against me or my country, than that does bother me.

Now I used to work for Est Est Est in Chester, and this is the list of nationalities we had working for us.

Spanish manager
Algerian supervisor,
Turkish barmaid
Swedish waitress (who was apparently an Escort girl too, which I never knew)
Kurdish Iraqi's in the kitchen, brilliant chef's and very nice lads.
Polish KP's (Kitchen Porters)
Two English/Phillipino's - they were sisters and stunning
Two French people
Another Spanish girl
A Catalanian girl
A Czech
A German (who had a stunning Arse I may add)

Also worth me adding in that I am not sexist, but appreciate the female form.

A Pakistan lad
An Aussie
Oh and a sprinkle of English
And some rather letchy Italians, but then that's them.

Now all of them to a man/woman were great apart from 2!

The French girl and the Pakistan lad.

The French girl used to bitch all the time at how bad are government was and disorganised we were. Now this done my head in because if you don't like a place, or you feel its not run well (ie the government), then go home. But France? They have had more [Poor language removed] with their government than we have.

The Pakistan lad once told me that he hates English people, the English nation. etc.... I nearly exploded, he obviously didn't realise that I was English, and that he was on safe ground.

Anyway, that was my experience of working in a multi-national environment. I really enjoyed it, it was a good laugh.

The French girl was right, England (and Scotland) is run terribly. Part of the charm of the UK as a whole is the "couldn't give a fcuk" attitude of its inhabitants. That's until you require a service ...

Maybe so, but I don't move to France and bitch about [Poor language removed] there, I live here, I don't have a choice. She has the option to move back home to a country she is happy with.

Spot on Ghost. I am not racist but it upsets me when immigrants complain about our weather, our government etc etc. Those born here have the right to complain, those that now live here should shut up or put up. Hope that does'nt sound racist because we dont know what we are allowed to say no more without being politically incorrect.

I live in the South East and enjoy bitching about it from time to time, I say it's not as good as Kirkby for whatever reason. Winds my mates up a bit, am I regionalist?

By the way, I still buy my own socks local washing lines are safe from me.:D

Spot on. To me, an immigrant should have the right to whine about things if he or she feels the inclination. Otherwise, it's one rule for them and another for those born in the country. Why should Fred Bloggs of Kirkby be able to bitch about things when Fred Singh of Bombay can't?

Like Whiteboots, I bitch about the country I live in all the time, and so do the other foreigners that I go to my classes with. We don't hate the place, far from it, we just like to have a good whine.

Now there is a difference between hating the country you've moved to and just feeling you've the right to criticize.
