As much as i'd love Manny to come back to us, we have Mikel in the position where he is at best.

He's still [Poor language removed] brilliant though and has the ability to go far.

Fellaini will be a brilliant player but he does not control games.

Some of you need to watch matches outside of the Premiership.

Remember this thread...

It ended up

Fellaini - 20
Manny - 36

What do people think now. Fellaini is a far better player who fights for the corse an just gives a [Poor language removed]. he loves it here an will become a Legend.

Manny on the other hand is a bad sponk donkey whos only avarage at best. An likes watches. [Poor language removed] tramp...

Honestly mate. You need to get a grip, Fernandes is at another club.

Really no contest.

Fellaini isn't in the same class as Fernandes. But in case you thought he was. Fernandes beats him hands down on touch, vision, techinque, etc.... Oh, and he doesn't draw yellow cards at the rate Fellaini does.

I love Fellaini and think he'll be great for us but he's not in the same league as Manny.

Not even close.

Fellani vs. Fernandes?? Am I missing something cause I didn't see Ferndano doing much for us in the time he was here. Instead of showing glimpses Fellani has actually produced.

Hardly a fair comparison is it?

Fernandes made 19 starts over two loan periods, both split up by injuries and lack of fitness. Fellaini on the other hand has started 18 games consecutively and been able to find his rhythm and role in the side.

And to be honest Fellaini has proved nothing in midfield, he's proved himself as a second striker. Most of Fernandes's time at Everton was spent in the middle and occasionly on the right/left wing. Positionially you can't even judge or compare there time at Everton.

It's a poor post to be honest, "Sharpy's titty lip" shoulld've thought it through before bringing this thread back up.:P

Big fan of the big man... No contest for me.

After a short settling in time, we've lost twice in our last 14 matches - only the upset to Wigan and the farcical throwing away of the Villa match that should never have happened and has to be shouldered by Lescott & Jagielka.

He gets booked too regularly but definately chips in with goals and if not, draws taller defenders away from our midgets.

Fernandes wasn't vastly different in his style of play or what he would've brought to the team than Osman, Pienaar or Arteta - Fellaini's a completely different proposition for opponents and allows us better options to mix up our style of play.

Ah I see.

But lets not forget that Manny had a spell in the Premiership prior his arrival here.

Pass accuracy percentage wise Surely Fellaini wipes the floor with Fernandes...

And that is considered one of Fernandes' greatest attributes, passing ability. It would be interesting to see the two sets of passing stats compared next to eachother in both of their spells here.

And Fellaini is criticised for his tackling... No doubt he makes more tackles than Fernandes.

But to be fair, Fernandes did do step-overs.

Oh yeah of course, +1 to Manny on that score too.

Also, Manny came from a more fashionable footballing nation. I mean, he has played 4 times for Portugal against the likes of Canada and Armenia, dont you know?

Strange the way he doesn't get a sniff these days as it would improve him, unlike big Fell who will regularly play on the International stage :D
