Fellaini or Fernendes.....?

Fernandes is just the better and more natural creative midfielder. It's his natural game, I'm not sure Fellaini is that type of player. His touch and technique is decent but he's not creative, I'm a big fan of my attacking midfielder having creativity. Like Gerrard at Liverpool, Scholes at Man utd and Fabregas at Arsenal. It's a must, there job is too feed the strikers and make things happen.

If Fellaini had been bought to be our ball winner I'd have said Fellaini but that's clearly not the case, he gets bypassed defensively just like Fernandes. Just like Fernandes he has a tendency to [Poor language removed] out of tackles and naturally he doesn't look a ball winner.

Fellaini will be a good player for us, I have no doubts about that but for the role Moyes is playing him I'd rather have Fernandes. I'd rather have Osman in the attacking role than Fellaini.

Agreed.

Some people just have their blue tinted glasses on as per usual.
 

Fellaini for me.

Though i liked Fernandes and enjoyed his moments of brilliance i think that Fellaini , given time, will offer the side a lot more on a consistant basis.I'm convinced that once he settles that he'll become a pivotal figure for us.
 
Could'nt say at the moment. I am waiting for Fellaini to settle in first before i can compare both. Manny is great but he did lose the ball too often in a blue shirt, saying that i would love him back.
 
Different kinds of players so it's hard to compare, but I'd definitely have rather signed Fernandes for 15mil than Fellaini. He's better now and he has more potential. Still though, can see Marouane overtaking him if Fernandes doesn't get settled somewhere and sort his head out.
 

I dont think its fair to compare them apart from the fact they are different types of player Felliani has not had enough time to settle and has a big fee adding to the pressure.(y)
 
Haven't seen much of Fellaini (no-one has really) so we'll have to wait and see. Get the impression he could play the Cahill role and although he might not be as natural a goalscorer as Tim (again time will tell), think he's possibly a more complete midfielder. This gives us the possibility of a box- to box player. Would like to see Manny here aswell coz he's a more natural playmaker.
 
Right now it would be Fernandes. He would of been cheaper, he has way more creativity and i believe that if he was signed permanatly and given the chance to settle down here that after a season he would be better than Fellaini ever will be.

At this point of time i cant really think of anything that Fellaini has over Fernandes other than attitude (but no one here knows for sure).
 
Fellaini will be an immense player for us. I believe that.

That said, his skill on the ball doesn't even come close to Manny.

Manuel Fernandes for me.

This was an easy one.
